Jane E. Yow, Founder of The Performance Link, is a Training and Organization Development Consultant, specializing in creative business training, with a focus on the people side of management. Jane began consulting, after leaving ten years in the Health Care Industry...realizing that every organization, regardless of the type of business, needs to focus on "linking people and performance to the bottom line." Erin is an organization development expert with nearly two decades experience serving organizations of all sizes across industries on a broad range of issues. She works with leadership teams helping them to articulate their vision and values and organizational strategy, while providing executive coaching and deploying rigorous tools in support of these. She makes these strategies operational through effective implementation and training at all levels of the organization. Erin possesses deep functional expertise in marketing, human resources and operations, having served both in and outside organizations in these roles throughout her career, and understands the importance of tying results to specific financial goals.

Erin's specific expertise includes designing employee selection systems that identify the best candidates who will fit, perform and stay; developing performance management tools that increase performance across the organization over time and measuring both the employee and customer experience. An effective facilitator and coach, Erin works with leaders and their teams to build trust, commitment and results.

She also serves clients providing community engagement and grassroots marketing strategies and execution in both on- and off-line environments, helping launch new products and building brands. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Colorado.

Mel Yow is a team-development expert with over four decades experience in the healthcare industry. His expertise includes developing new teams, working with existing teams to increase their operational and interpersonal effectiveness, and helping teams develop and articulate their organization's mission, vision, and values. Mel has extensive experience in facilitating work groups for problem identification and performance improvement, as well as experience in quality management, with a focus on the development of leadership within the organization.

Mel has extensive experience in using the DiSC© Personal Profile System to assist team members focus their strengths on improving interpersonal relationships within their work groups and teams.

His expertise includes implementing a systems approach to problem solving, including the development of process and procedure documents, tracking instruments, and dashboard reports to communicate system improvements to staff and leadership alike. Working with clients outside of healthcare as well, Mel has demonstrated expertise in operations improvement as an outcome of his systems approach.

Mel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry, as well as a Master's Degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry from Memphis University. Throughout his career he has participated in numerous leadership development programs and has presented to local, State, and national conferences.
